| Sue Fawn Chung received her Ph.D. in History from the University of California Berkeley. She teaches Chinese and Japanese history and civilization. Dr. Chung is the author of various articles on Chinese American history, and is currently working on the late Qing Dynasty period. She has curated exhibitions on the Chinese in Nevada. Her awards include a Distinguished Nevadan Award, a National Defense Fellowship, as well as awards from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Council of Learned Societies. She is the Nevada representative on the Board of Advisors for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and a Council member of the Chinese Historical Society of America. |
