| Mehran Tamadonfor received his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder. His research specializations are in comparative and international politics, with an emphasis on religion and politics in the Middle East and North Africa. He is the author of The Islamic Polity and Political Leadership: Fundamentalism, Sectarianism, and Pragmatism (Westview Press, 1989). |
