Aya Louisa McDonald
Assistant Professor of Art History, UNLV
Aya Louisa McDonald received her Ph.D. in Art History from Stanford University.  Her research specialization is the art of Japan, medieval and modern.  Her publications have appeared in e.g., The Burlington Magazine, The Dictionary of Art and the Encyclopedia of Japan.  She has received awards from The Japan Foundation, the American Council of Learned Societies, and the National Endowment for the Humanities, and is currently completing a study of the life and art of Foujita Tsoughuharu.
