Destiny Farr is a Sophomore at UNLV and is majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Women's Studies. She is from Slidell, a small town outside of New Orleans, Louisiana where she graduated high school from Northshore High in 2004. Destiny attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for two years before transferring to UNLV. After Destiny graduates from UNLV with her bachelor's degree, she plans on attending Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana to get a law degree and become a lawyer. She is currently involved with the Young Democrats program at UNLV and enjoys conversations and debates about politics. Destiny also enjoys participating in events and activities to promote equal rights for all.

Gay Sessums joined the Women's Studies Department as Administrative Assistant in August 2004. She earned her BA in Philosophy as a non-traditional student at UNLV and continues her studies by pursuing a graduate certificate in women's studies. She is interested in the production and maintenance of gender as a social construction that informs social inequalities and ultimately all manifestations of violence.
