When to Start the Process
Apply now if you are planning to graduate in Spring 2011 (not Summer 2011) or reapply if you are updating your graduation date from Fall 2010:
How to Apply
1. Please go to the MyUNLV Student Center and click on the "other academic" drop-down menu, click on "Apply for Graduation."
2. Once you have completed the steps, a review will be done of your academic requirements and you will be notified of any outstanding issues that need to be completed in order to graduate on time. Apply for each program (majors & minor) you intend to complete.
3. Once reviewed, we call you to meet with an advisor. Make sure your phone number is updated. During the meeting, we go over all remaining degree requirements and verify your diploma address.
4. A graduation fee will be assigned to your student account. You must pay this fee by your date of graduation. If the fee is not paid, a hold will be placed on your account and you will be unable to obtain transcripts or your diploma.
NOTE: Applications are processed in the order received.
Deadlines
The final deadline to apply for spring 2011 graduation is: Friday, March 18, 2011.
2011 Commencement
Spring 2011 Saturday May 14, TBA, Thomas & Mack Center
Do not bring any personal items (i.e. purses or drinks); only your keys and your name card (which will be given to each graduate at the time of tassel purchase from the UNLV bookstore). For additional graduation information, go to the commencement website.
