Worksheets

The College of Liberal Arts has 20 majors and 22 minors. All majors within the college require at least 124 credits, with at least 62 credits from a four-year institution and at least 42 credits of upper division (300 to 400 level). The last 30 credits must be done as a declared major in the College of Liberal Arts, with no out-of-state transfer work. A 2.5 GPA is required for all degree programs in Liberal Arts except Multidisciplinary, which requires a 2.0.

Two semesters of the same foreign language or two foreign culture courses (PDF) are part of the degree requirement unless you are an English major, where you are required to take four semesters of the same foreign language. American Sign Language (also known as Ameslan, or ASL) and a computer language can't be substituted for the foreign language requirement.

Multicultural and International requirement (See top right of degree worksheet): A minimum of six credits to be composed of a three-credit multicultural requirement and a three-credit international requirement. To determine courses satisfying these requirements, consult the full list on the Faculty Senate General Education Committee Website. Please refer to your catalog year. A single course may not meet the multicultural and international requirements simultaneously, but these courses may simultaneously fulfill other general education core requirements. Please consult with your advisor for clarification.
