General InformationThe Wilson Advising Center (WAC) supports all academic units within the College of Liberal Arts. We have full-time professional advisors on staff to assist students with academic advising and on-campus referrals.
Liberal Arts students’ degree progress worksheets and minor worksheets are maintained at the Wilson Advising Center, and students may pick up an updated copy at any time. Our advisors work with students on tentative class scheduling for future semesters and Career Option worksheets are provided for each major. The Center also provides information on Resume Clinics, Graduate Schools and Teaching. Location, Hours, Phone Numbers and Suggestions If you have a Liberal Arts major or minor, or are thinking about having a major or minor in the College of Liberal Arts, contact the Wilson Advising Center for additional information. The WAC is located in the Wright hall, B Building, Room 131 (WRI B 131, # 34 on the UNLV Campus Map).
The Center is open from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Summer Term 8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. During the Fall 2006 Semester, the Center will be open from 8:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Fridays and during holiday periods. See the 2004-2006 Undergraduate Catalog NEW ADMITTEES, PLEASE NOTE that you will receive a letter from the WAC once we have received your file from Admissions or your previous major. NON-ADMITTED TRANSFER STUDENTS, please bring or fax copies of transcripts of previous coursework to the WAC BEFORE your appointment (our fax number is (702) 895-1999). While WAC advisors will evaluate transcripts, only the Admissions Office can make official rulings on what credits are admissible to UNLV.
