Italian
Club
The recently formed Italian Club has a series of exciting initiatives
in store for UNLV students and members of the Las Vegas community,
among them:
- Tavola Italiana will allow you to practice your Italian in an
informal environment with Italian teachers, native speakers and
other students, and discuss a variety of cultural topics and events
that relate to Italy.
- Italian Cinema Series will show six films per semester, classic
and contemporary movies, comedies and dramas that explore specific
aspects of Italian life. All films are in Italian with English
subtitles.
- Italian Culinary Evenings will offer you the opportunity to
learn how to prepare some Italian dishes, and learn about the history
and culture of the region that produced them.
- Festa Italiana will celebrate the end of semester, through a
party open to both students and any other interested persons, where
you can enjoy lots of food, while listening to Italian music and
watching videos about Italy.
