Biography:

German Negrón Rivera obtained his B.A. in Education and his master's degree in Linguistics at the Universidad de Puerto Rico.  His master's thesis title is Cohesión en las narraciones de niños de tercero, sexto, noveno y duodécimo grados en las escuelas públicas de Naguabo.  He taught at public schools in Puerto Rico and at the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico and the Universidad del Turabo.  He currently is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Pittsburgh.  The topic of his doctoral dissertation is the creation of identities during a legislative investigation in Puerto Rico about the killings of two independence supporters at the hands of the Puerto Rican Police in 1978.
