Areas of research and teaching interest: French Medieval and Renaissance literature; French culture and civilization, French literature and the arts, intermediate language and conversation courses. Her publications have appeared in Aevum, Romance Notes, Romance Quarterly, Rocky Mountain Review, and Sixteenth Centural Journal.
Recipient of the 2003 Rita Deanin Abbey Teacher of the Year Award, Dr. Harp is the departmental advisor for majors and minors in French at UNLV. She also serves as coordinator of the Arabic, Hebrew and Russian courses offered by the Department of Foreign Languages.
